Fire Protection Services

From fire sprinkler installation and inspection to emergency repair and code consulting, Canvas Fire Protection has you covered.

Full-Service Fire Protection From One Contractor

Most building owners deal with two or three different companies for their fire protection needs. One for sprinklers, one for extinguishers, one for the fire pump. That means three schedules to coordinate, three invoices to track, and three different companies pointing fingers when something doesn't pass inspection.

We handle all of it. One company, one call, one point of contact. Your sprinkler system, your backflow preventer, your fire extinguishers, your fire pump, your hydrants. We install them, inspect them, test them, repair them, and give you the documentation your insurance carrier and fire marshal need. Everything under one roof.

How We Work

You call us. We pick up. We talk about your building and figure out what you need. Then we schedule a time that works for you, show up when we said we would, do the work right, and hand you the paperwork before we leave. If we find something wrong during an inspection, we tell you what it is, what it'll cost to fix, and how soon it needs to happen. No sales pitch. Just the facts.

Every piece of work meets Massachusetts fire code and NFPA standards. Every technician carries the certifications the state requires. And every job gets documented so you've got a paper trail for your records, your insurance company, and the fire department.

Codes and Standards We Work Under

Massachusetts fire protection is governed by 527 CMR and a series of NFPA standards. NFPA 13 covers commercial sprinkler systems. NFPA 13R and 13D cover residential. NFPA 25 covers inspection, testing, and maintenance of water-based systems. NFPA 72 covers fire alarm systems. NFPA 20 covers fire pumps. We know all of them and work under them every day.

Why does this matter to you? Because a system that doesn't meet code is a system that won't pass inspection. And a system that won't pass inspection is a liability for your building, your tenants, and your insurance coverage. We build and maintain every system to the standard the code requires. Period.
